Help Secure Housing
At Veterans United Aid, we realize that having a safe and stable place to live is essential for your well-being. We also know that many veterans face barriers to finding and keeping affordable housing, such as low income, poor credit, or lack of social support. That’s why we offer guidance and assistance to help you secure housing that meets your needs and preferences.
Our housing specialists can help you explore various housing options and programs that are available for veterans, such as:
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program, which combines HUD rental vouchers with VA case management and supportive services to help veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness find and maintain permanent housing1
The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, which provides grants to nonprofit organizations and community agencies to help veterans and their families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness access housing, legal assistance, financial counseling, and other services.
The VA Home Loan program, which offers VA-backed loans and grants to help veterans, service members, and surviving spouses buy, build, improve, or refinance a home.
If you need help with securing housing, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you. We are committed to helping you improve your quality of life, one step at a time.
